Need help with your account, a scan, or your collection? Contact support@terratcg.app.

Include your app version, device model, and a short description of what happened. Never send passwords, sign-in codes, or other people's private information.

Signing in

Use the same Apple or Google account you used when creating your collection. Different sign-in identities may have separate collections, including when Apple Hide My Email is enabled.

Scanning animals

Allow camera access, keep the animal clearly visible, and check your internet connection. Identification can be incorrect, and some animals are not collectible yet. A busy field lab or a daily limit may require you to try again later. Never approach dangerous wildlife to get a better photo.

Battles

A Battle never takes or damages your cards, whatever the result. To play, save a Team in Social → Battles → Teams. Training is free practice against the computer, with no rewards. Ranked Battles open at Level 5 and accept only Teams made of your scanned cards and their Stand-ins.

If your connection drops or you leave, the Battle carries on: anything you miss counts as timed out, and the result stands. Reopen Terra to rejoin a Battle still in progress.

Garnets are earned by playing Battles and pay for Stand-ins. They cannot be bought, traded or turned into another currency. When a card leaves your collection, its Stand-ins are refunded in Garnets automatically.

Sponsorship

Sponsor a friend from Social or the Friends page with your Sponsor link, its QR code or your Username. When they save their first scanned card within 30 days of joining, you each collect 300 Amber on the Friends page. A Sponsor is rewarded for up to 10 friends a month; past that, the friend still gets their reward. A reward can be refused, without saying why, if the friend's device was used by another Terra account. You also become Friends, with no Friend request, unless one of you already has 200 Friends.

If you share card videos on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or another platform to bring in friends, say in your post that you can earn a reward from it, with the platform's paid partnership label or #ad.

Friends and who can see

To add a Friend, type their exact Username in Search and send a Friend request. They accept or decline on the Friends page, under Friend requests. A request never expires, you can cancel it at any time, and a decline is not announced. You can have up to 200 Friends, 50 sent requests and 100 received requests. To remove a Friend, use the ⋯ menu on their Profile: this cancels the pending trade offers and challenges between you.

In Profile → Privacy, under “Who can see”, you choose who sees your “Profile”, “My collection”, “My photos” and “Feed activity”, and who can send you “Friend requests”. Your Username, avatar, card back, level and Terra ID always show, so that any player can report or block you. A Block ends any Friendship or pending Friend request between you, and the blocked player is not told. With “Friend requests” on Nobody, no new request can reach you, and those already waiting can still be answered.

“My photos” covers only the photos you took, on cards you still hold. Someone it does not allow sees the animal’s illustration instead. Only Everyone lets your photos be elected Best photo, shows your First discovery photos and lets you list those cards on the Market. Lowering it closes your open listings of those cards that have no bid yet, and cancels your pending offers that give one. A listing that already has a bid stays open until it ends, with its photo, until the sale is over. If you give such a card in a trade while the setting is on Friends or Only me, the app warns you first: once another player holds the card, everyone can see its photo. A photo that shows a person never goes beyond the Friends of the player holding the card.

Best photo and First discovery

A season lasts three months and is the same for every player. Every day, Terra elects the Best photo of each animal: among the scanned cards saved during the season, the photo our automatic check finds most beautiful; on a tie, the one saved first. A photo cannot be elected if a person is visible in it, if moderation hid it or it was withdrawn, if its card was pressed or deleted, or if the account that saved it does not have “My photos” on Everyone or is banned from the social features. A Best photo holds until the next daily election, unless moderation hides it: another one is then elected at once. The Best photos still standing when the season ends are that season's bests.

The First discovery of an animal goes to the player with the first scanned card of it ever saved. It stays with them, even if the card is traded, unless moderation hides that card or their account is deleted: it then passes to the player with the next earliest saved card. Its card's photo is shown to every player on the animal's pages and in World, unless a person is visible in it, it was withdrawn, or the player holding it does not have “My photos” on Everyone: the animal's illustration then shows instead, and the title stays theirs. Terra's test accounts and app store review accounts never hold one.

Both are free and automatic: no purchase is needed to take part. Apple and Google are not sponsors of the Best photo or the First discovery and are not involved with them in any way.

Report a concern

To report a player or a card, use Report in the app: from the player's profile, from the card, by long-pressing a card in your feed, from a Market listing, or from a trade offer. If someone offers to buy or sell cards, Pebbles or an account for money, choose “Selling for real money”. You can block the player at the same time. You will find the receipt and the outcome in Profile → Community → Moderation. To report a Best photo or a First discovery's photo, press and hold it or use the card's menu; if it is someone else's photo, choose “Not their photo”.

Without a Terra account, report illegal content or an intimate image of you at terratcg.app/report. Do not send us more copies of an image you are reporting. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services first.

Account and data deletion

This permanently removes your sign-in account and gameplay records, including your profile, collection, cards, scans, Amber history, Pebbles, trade offers, Market listings, tasks, Friends, Friend requests, Blocks and your identity on your Reports. It also removes your avatars, card backs, Achievements, Teams, Stand-ins and Garnets. Your Sponsorships are removed too, except one that already earned its reward, which stays with no link to you so the other player keeps theirs; your Share links stop naming you. Battles you played stay in your opponents’ history, no longer linked to you. Saved card-photo deletion is requested as part of account deletion. Scanned cards you traded or sold stay with their new owners, with their photo, credited “a player” and no longer linked to you; write to us if you want such a photo removed. French law requires us to keep a minimal Deletion record (your sign-in details and recent connections, never game data) for a limited time; our privacy policy gives the details. The Deletion record keeps the Usernames you used for 1 year, and your Username is freed 30 days after deletion unless a moderator reset it. This cannot be undone.

Email support@terratcg.app with the subject “Terra account deletion.” Include the sign-in email and Username associated with your account. If you use Apple Hide My Email, include the relay address shown for Terra. We may need to verify account ownership before acting. Never send a password or sign-in code.

  1. Open Terra TCG and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Open the Profile tab.
  3. Choose Sign-in and account → Delete account and confirm.

Traded photos and credits

To have your name restored on cards you traded before deleting your account, or to have a traded photo removed, write to support@terratcg.app from the address you used, with the card's Terra ID (C-XXXX-XXXX). Anyone shown in a traded photo can ask for its removal at terratcg.app/report. A card whose photo is removed stays with its owner, with its Field Guide illustration.

Data that may remain temporarily

Operational backups and security or diagnostic records can retain copies after deletion from the active service. Routine database backups retain the four most recent copies. Separately retained operational snapshots and service-provider records follow their applicable retention periods. These records are not used to restore your account for normal use. The Deletion record required by law is kept after deletion, and so is the license record of each traded photo, without anything that identifies you; our privacy policy gives the details.

You can also request deletion of particular personal data without closing your account by contacting support. Some data is necessary to keep the account working. See our privacy policy.
